Fira to Oia.
Twelve kilometres
of pure caldera.
The classic rim walk — Firostefani, Imerovigli, Skaros Rock and Oia. Licensed guide, early start, return transfer. €70 pp, min 6 guests.
The best way to understand Santorini is to walk it.
The Fira to Oia trail is one of the great walks in the Mediterranean. For 12 kilometres, you follow the rim of the caldera — the flooded crater of a Bronze Age eruption — passing through Firostefani, Imerovigli, and finally Oia.
The trail is cobbled in the villages and raw volcanic dirt between them. You pass blue-domed churches, abandoned cave houses, Skaros Rock (a medieval fortress), and long empty stretches where the only sound is the wind and the sea below.
We start early to beat the heat and the crowds. A licensed local guide adds context — geology, history, where to eat in Oia at the end. Bus transfer back to Fira is included, or stay for the sunset.
A relaxed, well-paced morning.
Times are approximate — the guide reads the group, the light, and the heat.
